In an effort to keep this list up to date, here we go.  I’m redoing my original post on Food to be more up to date.  First, I’ve fixed the omissions and errors.  Secondly I’ve added tables to organize the food as well as the materials necessary make foods.

So since this seems to be my most popular post as of late, here we go folks.  Redone, shiny new and of course… up to date.  You’ll note that some sections are repeated, but I wanted to create a section on pure stats foods, melee foods, caster foods, pet foods and of course the odd ball foods you can get in Northrend.  Without further ado… here we go. Lets face it… you’ve got your food going on, but if you want to be truly ready, you need to make sure you’ve got your hands on the latest and greatest of Elixirs or Flasks. In the past it was arguably better to use elixirs if you wanted to maximize your buffs. However… elixirs don’t last past death. So unless you were going to be just wiping the floor with the raid instance it was highly likely that you would spend way more on Elixirs than you would on Flasks. Flasks were in many cases inferior, but lasted longer and through death.

I’m not sure that its true anymore that flasks are inferior. Either way, you have to know what to get and how expensive it is. I may go back and revisit my previous post on food to do the same, but without further ado, lets look at some elixirs. (more…)
